Get started with ADESA vehicle auctions

To participate in ADESA vehicle auctions, you’ll need to register as a dealer. This one-time process gets you access to all ADESA auctions in North America and our comprehensive range of auction solutions. As a registered dealer, you can take advantage of remarketing services including transportation, reconditioning, financing, marshalling, inspections, title services and more.

Not a dealer? Check out our public auctions.

Contact our helpful dealer registration representatives with any questions you have about the registration process. Email registrationscanada@adesa.com or call 888-526-7326, and we’ll be happy to help.

Become an AuctionACCESS member

Sign up to become an AuctionACCESS member  and receive your Rep ID. ADESA partners with AuctionACCESS, the auction industry’s standard credentialing organization, to provide our dealers with an additional layer of security and convenience.

Register with ADESA

Set up your online account to access fresh inventory from our vehicle auctions nationwide. You’ll need the following information to register for ADESA vehicle auctions:

  • Your AuctionACCESS number (the “100 million” number)
  • Your birthdate
  • The last four digits of the government ID you used for AuctionACCESS
  • A current email address

After submitting your form, you’ll receive a confirmation email from ADESA. Follow the link in the email to set up your username and password, then log in and start searching for vehicles. Online buying privileges are generally authorized within five (5) business days of application. A national ADESA dealer registration representative will email you with any questions or documents needed to complete the process. Once your privileges are in place, you can also purchase DealerBlock and DealerBlock Prime vehicles online.

Attend an auction

The first time you visit a new ADESA auction location, go to the Dealer Registration counter to complete any paperwork required to buy in-person or in a live online sale via that location. Auction regulations and requirements vary by state. Depending on the location you visit, you may need to provide:

  • Your AuctionACCESS number
  • Your state dealer’s license or equivalent state document
  • A copy of a voided company business check
  • Your current sales tax certificate
  • Any additional required state documents
  • Your current dealer bond, if required
  • A current salesperson’s license for each representative attending the auction

Once you’ve completed registration, you’re free to join any open sale or online auction, and take advantage of pre-sale, sale day and post-sale tools and services via your ADESA.com account.

  • Access run lists
  • Build a Watch List prior to sale day
  • Get gate passes
  • View your purchases after the auction
