To participate in ADESA vehicle auctions, you’ll need to register as a dealer. This one-time process gets you access to all ADESA locations in Canada and our comprehensive range of auction solutions. As a registered dealer, you can take advantage of remarketing services including transportation, reconditioning, financing, marshalling, inspections, title services and more.

and receive your Rep ID. ADESA partners with AuctionACCESS, the auction industry’s standard credentialing organization, to provide our dealers with an additional layer of security and convenience.

Register with ADESA Canada

Set up your online account to access fresh inventory from our ADESA Vehicle Logistics Centres across Canada.

You’ll need the following information to register for ADESA vehicle auctions:

  • Your AuctionACCESS number (the “100 million” number)
  • Your birthdate
  • The last four digits of the government ID you used for AuctionACCESS
  • A current email address

After completing the online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email from ADESA. Follow the link in the email to set up your username and password, then log in and start searching for vehicles.

Online buying privileges are generally authorized within five (5) business days of application. A national ADESA dealer registration representative will email you with any questions or documents needed to complete the process.

Attend an Auction

The first time you visit a new ADESA location, go to the Dealer Registration counter to complete any paperwork required to buy in-person or in a live online sale via that location.

Auction regulations and requirements vary by province. Depending on the location you visit, you may need to provide:

  • Your AuctionACCESS number
  • Your state dealer’s license or equivalent state document
  • A copy of a voided company business check
  • Your current sales tax certificate
  • Any additional required state documents
  • Your current dealer bond, if required
  • A current salesperson’s license for each representative attending the auction

Once you’ve completed registration, you’re free to join any open sale or online auction, and take advantage of pre-sale, sale day and post-sale tools and services via your ADESA.ca account.
